Roll Shutters
Our custom fabricated Roll Shutters provide maximum protection from forced entry, sun and heat, noise, driving rain, and storms. They can be installed outside of any existing window or door, or we can assist your architect or engineer in planning the installation into new construction, thereby minimizing the interference with the architectural design. There are choices of different types of slats; PVC, Foam Filled Aluminum, and Extruded Aluminum, and several attractive choices of colors and color combinations. Vent holes between the slats allow light to penetrate, yet they can be totally closed and secured for maximum storm protection.
Roll Shutters can be manually operated or by electric motor. Electric shutters are normally furnished with either a manual over-ride or a battery back-up unit in order to operate the shutters in a power outage. We have unlimited electronic options available, such as remote control, timer control, automatic sun or wind control, or group control units to operate multiple shutters simultaneously. Roll Shutters meet the standards of the Southern Standard Building Code (SBCCI) and the MetroDade South Florida Building Code.
